Pete Davidson remains in rehab despite recent reports suggesting otherwise. Contrary to claims that he had exited a facility after two weeks, a source close to Davidson confirmed to Page Six that he is still actively undergoing psychiatric treatment. The Saturday Night Live star is committed to his recovery and seeking privacy as he focuses on improving his mental well-being.
This update contradicts a report from The US Sun, which stated that Davidson, 30, had recently left an unnamed treatment center and distanced himself from his previous connections. The publication also mentioned that Davidson had cut ties with several people around the same time as his breakup with actress Madelyn Cline, whose relationship with him began in September 2023 and ended in July. An insider shared that the couple’s relationship thrived on their mutual independence and space.
Davidson initially checked into the facility last month to address ongoing mental health challenges, including PTSD and borderline personality disorder. He had previously spent time in a similar facility in June for comparable issues.
Despite these reports, the insider confirmed that Davidson is still receiving treatment and has not exited the program. Davidson’s representatives have denied the initial exit reports and emphasized that he is continuing therapy as part of his rehabilitation. They have requested privacy during this time so Davidson can focus on his recovery.
