Suyash Pandey, better known by his stage name Chunky Pandey, was born on September 26, 1962. He is a well-known Indian film actor who has appeared in over 80 films throughout a career spanning more than three decades. Chunky initially rose to fame in Bollywood between 1987 and 1994. However, after 1994, his popularity as a leading actor in Hindi films began to decline.
Following his setback in Bollywood, Chunky found success in Bangladeshi cinema from 1995 onwards, where many of his films performed well. Since 2003, he has primarily worked as a character actor in Hindi films, earning recognition for his versatile performances.
Born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Chunky Pandey started his career as an instructor at a theater school in 1986. He also mentored several budding actors, including Akshay Kumar.
In January 1998, Chunky married Bhavna Pandey, and the couple has two daughters, one of whom is the popular actress Ananya Panday.
