Kapil Sharma’s hit comedy series, The Great Indian Kapil Show, is set to return for a second season, with the makers announcing its official premiere date. The new season will begin streaming on Netflix starting September 21.
Joining Kapil once again will be popular cast members Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh, and Rajiv Thakur.
The first season wrapped up on June 22, featuring Kartik Aaryan as the final guest. Despite earlier reports of low viewership during the first season, the show’s cast dismissed the rumors, clarifying that their contract with Netflix for Season 1 had simply ended and they would be back for another season.
In addition to his television success, Kapil Sharma made a special appearance in the film Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
