The much-anticipated sequel Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn, has been given a new release date. Initially set to premiere on November 15, the film will now hit theaters on February 21, 2025.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the first installment, Raid 2 is a sequel to the 2018 hit Raid. The film will once again focus on the “unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department,” drawing from a real-life case. Joining Devgn in key roles are Vaani Kapoor and Rajat Kapoor, with Riteish Deshmukh portraying the antagonist.
The original Raid featured Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D’Cruz and was based on a high-profile Income Tax raid conducted in the 1980s.
Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with Panorama Studios.
