Jacqueline Fernandez is set to depart for London on the night of September 11 to begin a month-long shoot for Housefull 5, as per sources close to the project. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani (Dostana, Drive), the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles.
Sources reveal, “The production for Housefull 5 is set to commence soon, and Jacqueline will be in London for an extensive shooting schedule.”
Jacqueline has been a significant part of the Housefull franchise, making her first appearance with a dance number in the original film. She played a central role in Housefull 2 and Housefull 3, and is now returning for the fifth installment after skipping Housefull 4.
The Housefull series, which began in 2010, has been a long-running hit. The first film, directed by Sajid Khan, featured Riteish Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, and Boman Irani in a story about a man plagued by bad luck. Subsequent sequels in 2012, 2016, and 2019 introduced new characters and wild comedic plotlines.
Housefull 5 was originally scheduled for a Diwali 2024 release but has been postponed to June 6, 2025.
