The much-anticipated satirical comedy Pailam Pilaga has set its release date. Starring Sai Teja Kalvakota and Pavani Karanam in the lead roles, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on September 20.
The announcement was made via the film’s official X page, with the caption, “Get ready, our Pilla gadu is coming with a blasting resound!” Produced by Rama Krishna Boddula and SK Srinivas under the banner of Happy Horse Films, Pailam Pilaga is generating buzz ahead of its release.
The film’s new single, ‘Naalo Sagama,’ was released on Thursday. The track is performed by the legendary playback singer KS Chitra, with Yashwanth Nag serving as the music director. On the technical side, Raviteja Kurmana is handling the editing, and Sandeep Baddula is the cinematographer.
Directed by Anand Gurram, who has previously made shorts like Men – Unheard and Abdul, Pailam Pilaga also features Anand’s own story and screenplay. Pavani Karanam stars as the female lead, with a supporting cast that includes Chitram Seenu, Mirchi Kiran, Dubbing Janaki, and Pranav Sonu.
Sai Teja Kalvakota was last seen in My Name is Shruthi alongside Hansika Motwani, while Pavani Karanam’s most recent major role was in Pareshan.
